CDS member Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Seidel-Morgenstern was awarded the "ACS Award for Affordable Green Chemistry" together with his colleagues Prof. Peter H. Seeberger from Potsdam and Prof. Kerry Gilmore from Connecticut, USA. The prize was awarded by the American Chemical Society (ACS).
Prof. Seidel-Morgenstern and his team achieved extraordinary success in developing continuous chemical processes for the production of active substances for malaria control.
