During the 13th International Conference on the "Fundamentals of Adsorption" in May 2019 in Cairns, Australia, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Seidel-Morgenstern was appointed President of the International Adsorption Society (IAS) for the next three years. Prior to this, he had held the office of Vice President of the IAS for three years.
