ESACT Medal for PD Dr. Yvonne Genzel

CDS member PD Dr. Yvonne Genzel, as team leader for "Upstream Processing" of the Bioprocess Technology research group under CDS member Prof. Dr. Udo Reichl, has received one of three ESACT medals. She received this award for her many years of involvment, including organizing special courses and serving as a member and secretary on the board of the European Society for Animal Cell Technology (ESACT).
ESACT is one of the most important scientific communities in the field of cell culture for biotechnologists and brings together scientists, engineers and other experts working in animal cell culture. Every two years, up to 1100 scientists and exhibitors gather at the ESACT conference.
