Researchers from the University of Magdeburg elected to the DFG Review Board

The CDS Members Dr.-Ing. Tanja Vidakovic-Koch and Prof. Dr. Peter Benner, along with six other researchers of the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg, have been elected to the review board of the Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) (German Research Foundation). From 2024 to 2028 the eight researchers will review and evaluate funding proposals in their respective subject areas. They will formulate recommendations for the DFG's committees and  simultaneously advise the DFG on the further development and design of its funding programs.
Dr.-Ing. Tanja Vidakovic-Koch is Head of the Research Group Electrochemical Energy Conversion at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems Magdeburg and was elected for the Review Board Process Engineering, Technical Chemistry. Prof. Dr. Peter Benner is Head of the Research Group Computational Methods in Systems and Control Theory at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems Magdeburg. He was elected for the Review Board Mathematics. 
The final election results will be announced in February.
