CDS Progress Meeting on the topic of Key Technologies
The last CDS Progress Meeting of the winter semester 2024/2025 took place on January 15th. The CDS members Prof. Dr. Peter Benner and Prof. Dr. Thomas Richter moderated the event.
Prof. Dr. Robert Altmann from the Institute of Analysis und Numerics (IAN) of the Faculty of Mathematics Fakultät für Mathematik was the first speaker of the day. His talk "Energy-based Modelling of Dynamical Systems" was met with great interest by the audience and encouraged discussions.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Benjamin Noack from the Institute for Intelligent Cooperating Systems of the Faculty of Computer Science inspired with his talk on the topic "Sensor Fusion for Particle Tracking and Other Applications".
Afterwards the partcipants could exchange ideas about the talks over coffee and cookies. The speakers were available for questions during the coffee break and provided deeper insights into their research. The CDS Progress Meetings will be continued in the following semester.
