IQ Innovation Prize Magdeburg “Otto von Guericke Award”
The current winner of the IQ Innovation Prize Magdeburg "Otto von Guericke Award" is the Chair of Thermodynamics and Combustion (LTV) at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. CDS member Prof. Dr. Frank Beyrau, Prof. Dr. Eckehard Specht, and Alexey Kropman were honored for the development of a novel reactor that prepares CO2-intensive industries for climate targets.

CDS spokesperson Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kai Sundmacher, Director and Head of the Process Engineering Department at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems Magdeburg, was re-appointed as a Fellow of the Max Planck School Matter to Life by the President of the Max Planck Society.
New members of the CDS
By decision of the Board of Directors, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nicole Gehring and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Bück were admitted as new members of the Research Center for Dynamic Systems (CDS).
