Siemens Healthineers supports FEIT with high-quality measuring equipment from FARO
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg has received a generous donation from the Siemens Healthineers plant in Kemnath of high-quality measuring equipment from FARO.
"We are very grateful to Siemens Healthineers for the generous donation," said CDS member Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrike Steinmann, Dean of the Faculty. "This support enables us to offer our students an excellent education while at the same time providing new impetus in research topics."
The partnership of the Siemens Healthineers and the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg aims to develop innovative solutions for healthcare, advance research and improve the training of specialists.
The Kemnath plant in Upper Palatinate was founded in 1962 and has since developed into a competence center for mechatronics, covering a large part of Siemens Healthineers' product range.
