New Members of the Faculty of Computer Science
By unanimous decision of the Directorate, Prof. Sanaz Mostaghim and Prof. Andreas Nürnberger from the Faculty of Computer Science (FIN) were admitted to the CDS.
Prof. Dr.-Ing Sanaz Mostaghim from the Institute for Intelligent Cooperating Systems (IKS) is head of the Computational Intelligence working group. Her research focuses on computational intelligence, swarm intelligence, swarm robotics and multicriteria optimisation.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Nürnberger from the Institute for Technical and Operational Information Systems (ITI) heads the Data & Knowledge Engineering working group. The main focus of the group is on analysing and modelling data, systems and human behaviour to support users in searching and analysing data and data collections.
