Prof. Andreas Seidel-Morgenstern admitted to the National Academy of Engineering of the USA

CDS member and Director at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Seidel-Morgenstern has been inducted into the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) of the USA in February 2023 for his outstanding contributions to adsorption, preparative chromatography, development and theory of separation of enantiomeric mixtures, and crystallization processes.

Membership in the National Academy of Engineering is one of the highest professional honors an engineer can attain. Academy members are honored for their outstanding contributions to engineering research, practice, or education, including significant publications as well as pioneering work in new and emerging fields of technology, in traditional areas of engineering, or in the development/implementation of innovative approaches to engineering education. The U.S. National Academy of Engineering brings together more than 2,000 distinguished national and international members from business, academia and government.
