CDS Member Dr. rer. nat Yvonne Genzel has been appointed "adjunct professor" at the faculty of process- and systems engineering at Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg.
CDS Progress Meetings will continue in the winter semester 2023/24
The CDS continues its lecture series "CDS Progress Meetings" in November 2023. In this series, the four research areas of energy conversion, chemical production, active substances and key technologies will be presented with current topics and the state of research.
Mathematical Optimization and Machine Learning: Prof. Sebastian Sager Researches as Max Planck Fellow at the Max-Planck-Institute Magdeburg
CDS member Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Sebastian Sager has been appointed Max Planck Fellow. The mathematician and professor at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg will take over the leadership of the research group "Mathematical Optimization and Machine Learning" at the Max-Planck-Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg for five years starting October 1, 2023.
