Former Max Planck Institute Magdeburg scientist Dr. rer. nat. Léa Chuzel received the Otto Hahn Medal of the Max Planck Society on June 21, 2023.

The University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy presented on 22 May 2023 in Sofia, 

For the winter semester 2023/2024, two bachelor's and one master's degree program of the Faculty of Process and Systems Engineering will be realigned. 

By unanimous decision of the Directorate at its last meeting, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Christof Hamel was admitted to the CDS.

The newly established Priority Program "Combinatorial Synergies SPP 2458" is funded by the German Research Foundation DFG with about 14 million Euros over six years.
